In The NICU at Reading Hospital:

December 17, 1997

Born 5 weeks early and weighing 4 lbs. 11 oz., 

Jimmy had a lot of work to do. This was not a happy time for Jimmy.

At this point, Jimmy is so small that we have to be careful where we place him.  Daddy almost sat on him because he didn't see him.  Big brother, Dan has to ask where he is so he doesn't sit on him or put anything down on top of him.

From One to Three months of age, Jimmy had a lot of problems with his tummy and with acid reflux, but by 3 months of age he was laughing out loud and making us laugh too. And he finally started to sleep through the night. We thought we would die from lack of sleep. Don't know how we survived.

He's been doing a lot of growing the past few months. He's playing catch up very quickly.

He's a very determined little boy. He wants what he wants when he wants it & lets us know.
